Immuno-Oncology Service Development 2026

Immuno-Oncology Service Development 2026
Online Conference, 5 CPD Hours
Wed 8 Jul 2026

Preparing and adapting your immuno-oncology service for the future

With subcutaneous delivery, BiTE therapies and TIL services continuing to reshape pathways across the UK, this interactive online conference supported services to adapt quickly and confidently. The event brought together leading clinicians and service innovators from Immunotherapy MDTs across the NHS to share practical strategies that could be implemented immediately, from strengthening assessment and home treatment models to future-proofing workforce planning and service capacity.

Attendees explored what was working nationally, connected with peers facing similar challenges and left with clear next steps to develop and strengthen their services.

Following the success of previous collaborative conferences with the IOCN in Coventry (October 2024) and Leeds (July 2025), this 2026 online meeting continued the partnership and provided another valuable opportunity for shared learning and innovation.

5 hours CPD

This online conference offered practical learning grounded in real-world service development. Through expert-led presentations and structured discussion, attendees explored current priorities, emerging treatments and the evolving demands on immuno-oncology services. Participants gained clearer insight into how to strengthen and develop their pathways in 2026 and beyond.

Key learning areas included national immuno-oncology developments and pathway priorities, the evolving role of subcutaneous immunotherapy delivery and associated safety considerations, BiTE pathway developments and the management of complex immunosuppression, and TIL therapy developments and their implications for both TIL and non-TIL sites.

Attendees also explored the design and delivery of safe immuno-oncology home treatment services, strengthened approaches to assessment, escalation and discharge processes, considered the integration of palliative care within immuno-oncology pathways, and reviewed how established services could be developed to meet increasing demand.

Online networking

This dedicated training day provided structured time for attendees to strengthen their immuno-oncology services and reflect on future development priorities.

Participants built professional networks by connecting with immuno-oncology clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and service leads to share approaches, challenges and practical solutions. They developed their knowledge by examining key issues shaping evolving immuno-oncology pathways, including new treatment models, monitoring requirements and service pressures.

The day also supported service development by giving attendees the opportunity to step away from day-to-day pressures, review their current pathways, explore alternative delivery models and identify realistic actions to improve capacity and sustainability.

With thanks to our partner

This online conference was  created in collaboration with and through support from IOCN.
