Assessing the Feasibility of your Clinical Research Trials

Assessing the Feasibility of your Clinical Research Trials
Online Course, 5 CPD hours
Fri 4 Jul 2025

This training was designed for NHS professionals working within Clinical Research. It provided attendees with a clear understanding of the fundamentals of feasibility, what happens when it goes wrong, and how to achieve successful trials and studies. Participants discovered tools and strategies to mitigate risks and adopt a ‘get it right first time’ approach to assessing the viability of their trials.

5 hours Continuing Professional Development

In this immersive study day, attendees returned to their teams confident in their approach to the feasibility of their research. Participants joined their Clinical Research peers and learned about:

  • The importance of feasibility and expression of interest, and how to implement a ‘get it right first-time’ approach
  • Managing the challenges of making a trial feasible
  • How to create a balanced portfolio
  • Strategies for managing the financial projections of their research
  • Establishing the right teamwork to make trials successful and viable

Attendees participated in this online NHS workshop from the comfort of their own homes

With an enhanced emphasis on networking, interactive discussion, and idea sharing, this forum provided attendees with all the elements needed to deliver change through:

  •     Evidence-based examples and knowledge implementation: mitigating mistakes when assessing feasibility in research
  •     Interactive presentations: attendees asked critical questions and learned from leading experts
  •     Closed room discussions: participants benefited from hearing fellow attendees’ struggles and successes with feasibility
  •     Agreed action plan: participants left the workshop confident in making the right changes to their process for assessing the feasibility of trials and studies
