This one-day, in-person, immersive training was designed to help attendees streamline and strengthen their role within the breast cancer pathway.

This multidisciplinary forum offered a unique opportunity to explore the entire patient journey – from initial diagnosis to treatment and ongoing care – with a focus on improving efficiency, collaboration, and patient outcomes. Participants came together to discover innovative diagnostic tools, emerging treatment strategies, and practical methods to reduce delays and enhance coordination.

6 hours Continuing Professional Development: what attendees learned

This unique event provided opportunity to identify how attendees roles intersected with others across the pathway and gained actionable insights to deliver more timely, personalised and effective care. They returned equipped with real-world strategies to improve both service performance and quality of life for their patients.

Quality of life for patients was prioritised, and steps were taken towards more personalised care by engaging with practical guidance and new treatments through:

  • Exploring current and new diagnostic strategies to enable more personalised care
  • Developing and strengthening MDTs by agreeing standards of care and improving efficiency

  • Learning about new cutting-edge clinical trials revolutionising breast cancer detection and treatment
